DeAijha Oliver grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the Administration of Justice from the University of Louisville, Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Behavioral Analysis, and subsequently her Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
During law school, DeAijha clerked for a Magistrate Judge, clerked for an Employment Law firm and worked as a certified student attorney with the Legal Assistance for Minnesota Prisoners clinic where she represented individual prisoners with their ongoing civil matters.
DeAijha began her legal career practicing Family Law at a firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was through this practice she learned the importance of understanding and compassion for clients while guiding them through the most difficult times of their lives.
Ms. Oliver is licensed to practice in the Minnesota State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. She is also a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice, Minnesota Women Lawyers, Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers and the Federal Bar Association.
When DeAijha is not working, she enjoys watching sports, competing in game nights with her friends and family, spending time with her husband, good music, and dancing.
