Pounnaphone Phomtalikhith

Pounnaphone Phomtalikhith was born in Laos and grew up in the Twin Cities. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. Cloud State University. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.

Pounnaphone began her legal career in New York City, where she represented survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking in immigration matters and the City University of New York in unemployment insurance hearings. Prior to joining Fields Law Firm, she was a Supervising Attorney at a non-profit law firm, where she represented clients in housing matters, including evictions, subsidized housing issues, expungements, and housing discrimination.

Pounnaphone is deeply committed to advocating for those facing challenging circumstances and needing strong, compassionate representation. Currently, she practices in the areas of Long Term Disability and Social Security Disability, where she works diligently to help clients navigate complex legal processes and secure the benefits they deserve.

Ms. Phomtalikhith is admitted to practice in New York and Minnesota State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.

In her spare time, Pounnaphone enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, trying new restaurants, and gardening.
